Interior Comfort
Lexus is known for providing drivers with luxurious interiors, and the NX doesn’t disappoint. This vehicle comes with an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with two-way lumbar adjustment as standard. There is also an eight-way power-adjustable passenger seat. The front seats are heated and incredibly comfortable for a long road trip.
The steering wheel is trimmed with leather, as is the shift knob. The entry-level model has the option to add a memory system for the driver’s seat, steering wheel, and outside mirrors. This system allows multiple drivers to save their personalized settings.
Exterior Design
The NX comes standard with a blade taillamp and subtle roof rails. There are auto-dimming and heated outside mirrors on the driver’s seat with an auto tilt-down feature when the car is in reverse. The wheels are 18 inches and come with 15 spokes and a dark gray machined finish.
The NX 250 is the base trim level and has the option to add a power tilt and slide moonroof to make the vehicle even more exciting. Drivers can also add rain-sensing windshield wipers to the NX 250.
Infotainment
The NX 250 comes with a 9.8-in touchscreen display with cloud-based navigation and intelligent assistance that’s activated by saying “Hey Lexus”. The system comes complete with Bluetooth technology, Wi-Fi hotspot capabilities, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. It’s paired with a 10-speaker premium sound system from Lexus. If this display isn’t enough, the NX 250 has the option to upgrade to a 14-in touchscreen.
Available Advanced Park Assist
The NX 350h AWD and NX 450+ AWD have available advanced park assist technology. This is hands-free parking. When activated, the vehicle will automatically park itself, even in parallel parking spots or when backing into a tight space.
Advanced Safety Assist Technology
Lexus has equipped the NX with a backup camera and loads of advanced safety assist features. Their Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 standard package is equipped with technology including a lane tracing assist and road sign assist. The vehicle also comes with intelligent high beams.
Additional features include a blind spot monitor and a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection for added safety. The all-speed dynamic radar cruise control comes with a curve speed management feature for additional assistance.
