The 2023 ES 300h comes in five trim levels: the entry-level 300h, the Luxury, the Ultra Luxury, and then the new F Sport Design and F Sport Handling options, which are explained in more detail below.
What’s New in the 2023 ES 300h?
For the 2023 model, Lexus has updated the infotainment system that comes standard in the center console, which also has the new additions of an integrated glasses holder and a wireless charging pad. The voice assistant system is also incredibly advanced and has a few updates to improve functionality and accuracy, making it easier to do other tasks while still keeping your eyes on the road.
Notably, the 2023 ES 300h is one of the models eligible for the free 10-year trial of Safety Connect services at all trim levels, which includes emergency and roadside assistance, a stolen vehicle locator, and an automatic collision notification system. Standard safety options are included on all trim levels and include lane departure assist, road sign assist, and intelligent high beams.
Changes to the F Sport Trim
The F Sport trim isn’t a new addition to the 2023 ES 300h, but it has received a few specific upgrades this year. The most notable of these is the decision to split the trim into two trim levels, Handling and Design. The Handling trim, as its name would suggest, comes with specific drive modes to boost performance and an advanced adaptive variable suspension that gives a smooth ride and improved traction.
The Design is focused on providing added visual appeal and convenience to the 300h, including 19-inch alloy wheels, wood interior trim, a heated leather-trimmed steering wheel, a rapid interior heater, and a heated deicer on the windshield wipers that can make it a breeze to improve your visibility in the winter.
